Strengthening the Expertise Behind SCION
At SCION Instruments, great analytical solutions are built on more than technology alone. They are shaped by the expertise, experience, and application knowledge of the people behind them.
As demand for custom solutions, training, and application support continues to grow, we are pleased to welcome two highly experienced professionals to the SCION team: Harm Moes, who joins us to lead our Applications and Custom Solutions teams in Goes, and Rik Van Tilborg, who joins as Senior Application Scientist.
Expanding Our Applications and Custom Solutions Capability
SCION supports customers working across a wide range of analytical applications, from environmental testing and food analysis to petrochemical, forensic, and industrial workflows and meeting the evolving needs of these laboratories requires adaptability and excellent technical guidance
To help us continue delivering key support, Harm has joined SCION to lead our Applications and Custom Solutions teams. Based in Goes, Netherlands, he will play a key role in coordinating application development, supporting custom projects, and strengthening collaboration between customers, product management, and technical teams.
Harm brings extensive experience in analytical chemistry, method development, standardisation strategy, and business development within the chromatography market. Prior to joining SCION, he contributed to the growth of analyzer and custom solution sales at Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions while managing international sales channels and distributor networks
His leadership will help ensure that customer feedback and application requirements continue to influence the future direction of SCION products and services.

Joining Harm is Rik, our new Senior Application Scientist.
With more than six years of experience working with GC and LC technologies, Rik brings valuable expertise in application development and analytical method development.
