Standard method GC Systems are complete with fully validated methods including factory tuning and offer full automation.
Custom GC Solutions offer a fully bespoke configuration, designed for any analytical need. These easy to use yet robust analysers offer full flexibility. Method development is also available via our Custom Solutions and Applications team.
With our Standard Method GC Systems or Custom GC Solutions, future maintenance and replacing consumables is stress free.
Built on the history of Chrompack and Varian in GC and GC-MS, SCION Instruments was acquired by the Techcomp group in 2014.
SCION Instruments designs, develops, supplies and supports GC, GC-MS, LC and Compass CDS (chromatography data system) product lines.
The company prides itself for manufacturing in Europe at facilities in Goes, The Netherlands with its headquarters based in Livingston, Scotland. SCION Instruments maintains a global infrastructure to support sales around the world. As well as providing support for SCION Instruments customers, there is also service and support available for users of legacy Varian systems.

Techcomp Group
In 2014, SCION Instruments was acquired by Techcomp Europe Ltd, a group of European companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of analytical systems, life science equipment and laboratory instruments with operations dating back to 1920.
